The pipeline scrapes 5 Nepali news sources, classifies articles as supporting or refuting each commitment using an LLM, and updates the score based on confidence-weighted evidence. Scores reflect real-world progress, not government self-reporting.

Janata is Hisabkitab's public opinion layer. Each day, a 3-signal controversy scorer identifies the top 5 most politically significant news stories. Citizens can vote Support or Oppose on each story, creating a real-time barometer of public sentiment on government actions.
